“Now that you can receive notifications for your emails, we want to make sure you’re only receiving emails from senders you care about. Along with desktop notifications, Yahoo has introduced a Block feature currently rolled out U.S users, soon will be available to international users. Recently Gmail has allowed users to block specific email addresses, Now Yahoo. Yahoo mail lets you block messages coming from a specific sender This is important: These notifications only appear to you when Yahoo mail is open in an inactive browser tab. When you receive new messages, they’ll be appear at the side of your screen on desktop. I spend a lot of time there on the round tables and am thinking about doing a computer geek show. When Chrome shows a notification in the URL bar, click on ‘Allow’, done. My last return info is to check out Revolution Radio. I was just trying to give you some info in return because you were trying to help me. Even though I'm retired, I have more things on my list than I have time for.

I will check out KeePass but haven't got to it yet. I like to collect free computer eBooks and there is usually a link for one in each newsletter.

I also use ubuntu when I play with my raspberry pi. I prefer windows on my pc, even though it's a pain in the ass, but have a partition for Ubuntu. I'm retired, but was a unix admin for 7 years. But his site has linux and android stuff. The gHacks newsletter might be more about windows. Do I always have to have a tab open for the community? That's not a bad idea though. When I come to the community I see the message in the bell. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong but I expect to see something in vivaldi when I get a new message. I also haven't been able to find anything about this on the web.ĭoes anyone have this problem or have any idea how to fix it? I'm still going to use Vivaldi and just use Firefox for yahoo mail in the mean time. I don't see any option in lastpass to fix this. I have been looking at the console in the developer window and I see this message - Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT. But I love lastpass and won't give it up. If I remove the lastpass extension it works fine. So I have been using Firefox because it doesn't have this problem. I am running Windows 10 Home version 1607 build 14393.576. I have this exact same problem in Chrome and it started a few months ago. But I like the latest version much better. I am using the basic version now and it works. I can start it and see my inbox, but I get a blank screen every time I open a mail item. I hung the browser a few times while I was copying bookmarks to my bar. I naturally really like the ability to search my bookmarks.

I am a bookmark maniac and try to organize them so I can easily find things. I have been using Chrome for a long time. I installed 1.7.715.3 (Official Build) (32-bit) last night and really like it.
